Ukraine wins OGAE Video Contest

Congratulations to Maruv, who lifts the trophy for Ukraine in the 2019 OGAE Video Contest, with her Siren Song.

This year’s contest was hosted by OGAE Czech Republic and is the third of the three OGAE contests to take place each year across the OGAE network.

Ukraine have now won the OGAE Video Contest twice, following their win in 2005 for Loboda.

This year’s OGAE Video Contest saw a number of Eurovision alumni taking part, including Loic Nottet (Belgium), Mahmood (Italy), Ira Losco (Malta) and Mikolas Josef (Czech Republic).

OGAE UK was this year represented by Jack Savoretti & Mika and their “Youth and Love”. Sadly we couldn’t follow in the footsteps of our OGAE Song Contest winner, with the UK placing 16th.
