OGAE UK is delighted to confirm that, for the third year in a row, it is an official sponsor of the annual London Eurovision Party.
The party takes place once again at London’s Cafe de Paris, on Thursday 5th April. As part of the sponsorship, we will be bringing to London one of the parry’s special guests – Eurovision 1983 winner Corinne Hermes.
President of OGAE UK, Alasdair Rendall, said:
“OGAE UK, the home of the UK’s Eurovision fans, and now the world’s biggest Eurovision club, is delighted to be a sponsor of the London Eurovision Party for the third consecutive year. This is always one of the highlights of the year, and therefore we’re excited to be bringing a Eurovision WINNER to London! Corinne Hermes is a fantastic singer and Si La Vie Est Cadeau remains a fan favourite, so we can’t wait to see her perform live on stage at the Café de Paris”
Corinne Hermès commented:
“I am so excited to be taking part at the London Eurovision Party. This is the one of the most prestigious events in the Eurovision calendar, and I am honoured to have my participation made possible thanks to OGAE UK. I know the UK Eurovision fans are some of the most passionate, and I can’t wait to meet you all and sing for you in the luxurious surroundings of the Café de Paris.”
Corinne is just one of many acts confirmed for the party this year, which includes UK entrant SuRie, as well as this year’s representatives from countries including Australia, France, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, Romania and Sweden, as well as special guests including Suzy (Portugal 2014) and Stella Mwangi (Norway 2011).
