OGAE UK AGM LONDON 2023
We will be holding our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday 12 November from 15:00 to 18:00 in the Hercules, 2 Kennington Road, London SE1 7BL.  (Nearest tube stations are Lambeth North on the Bakerloo Line, or Waterloo on the Bakerloo, Northern and Jubilee lines)

This is our annual business meeting when the President, Secretary and Treasurer present their reports on the state of the club, our financial situation, and a summary of the last year’s activities and future plans.

All members are welcome to attend the meeting but it is obviously impossible to have space for everyone and we will need to operate a ticketing system in order to be able to plan and manage numbers.  Capacity at the Hercules is limited to about 100 people and we will be offering tickets to the event on a first-come-first-served basis.  Tickets will be made available in the coming weeks once arrangements have been finalised.

For those unable to make the trip to London or unable to secure a ticket, we will be livestreaming the meeting so that you can join from home.  Once again, details of how to participate on-line will be circulated in due course.

The agenda for the meeting will be as follows:

1. Welcome & Introduction
2. Apologies & Proxies
3. President’s Report
4. Secretary’s Report
5. Treasurer’s Report
6. Questions from Members
7. Any Other Business

In accordance with previous AGM decisions, the minutes of the 2021 meeting were published in Vison 127 and will not therefore be presented at this meeting.

The full text of the various reports presented at the meeting along with the minutes will be published in a future edition of Vision.

We will make every effort to ensure that on-line access is available to all, but it may be difficult to raise questions on-line on the day.  If any member wishes to raise a specific question prior to the meeting or wishes to appoint a proxy vote, please send the details to ogaeuk@gmail.com by 2 November clearly indicating “AGM22” in the subject line.

Best wishes

Simon Bennett
OGAE UK Secretary
