Beat the lockdown with #EurovisionAgain

The current Covid19 pandemic is obviously a difficult time for all of us, and for Eurovision fans the disruption to this time of year and of course the cancellation of this year’s contest is particularly tough.

But one initiative to beat the lockdown blues has captured the imagination of fans across the country and beyond, and has even got the EBU on board!

#EurovisionAgan is a weekly sync watch of a classic Eurovision contest on Twitter (and, for those not on Twitter there is the chance for comments on the OGAE UK members’ group on Facebook). It takes place every Saturday at 8pm UK time, with the year’s reveal taking place 15 minutes before.

The initiative was started by OGAE UK member and Eurovision journalist Rob Holley and contests viewed so far include 2013, 2006 and 2009. Now the EBU has got on board by facilitating more contests to be available online.
