OGAE UK is delighted to have won the OGAE Song Contest for the third year in a row, and for a record-breaking seventh time.
The club was represented in this year’s contest with Dua Lipa, who stormed to victory with her hit song “Physical”, ahead of Spain’s Pastora Soler & Blas Canto, and France’s Vitaa & Slimane.
Edinburgh was the “host city” for this year’s contest, following last year’s victory by Lewis Capaldi – OGAE UK also won the contest the previous year with Steps’s “Scared of the Dark”.
The OGAE Song Contest has been running since 1986 and is a chance for fans across the OGAE network to celebrate non-Eurovision songs from each participating country.
OGAE UK looks forward to hosting the OGAE Song Contest 2021.
