The voting is over – and today we can reveal that the UK’s representative at the 2018 OGAE Second Chance Contest is…..Asanda!
She stormed to victory with 736 points, meaning “Legends” will be our representative at the contest hosted this year by OGAE Sweden.
The OGAE Second Chance Contest has been running every year since 1987, and the UK was one of only four countries – alongside Netherlands, Norway and Sweden, to take part in the debut contest. Since its inception, Sweden has the most victories, notching up an impressive fifteen gold medals. Sadly we are still to win OGAE Second Chance Contest, although we have been the runner-up on four occasions.
Further details to come of other countries’ entrants.
